ST. JOSEPH, Mich. (WNDU) – Just more than 12 hours after an armed robbery in St. Joseph, Michigan, the St. Joseph Public Safety Department released a photo of the suspect in the crime.

A Marathon gas station in the 2800 block of Niles Avenue reportedly was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night. The suspect allegedly entered the store just before 10:30 p.m. in a black ski mask and had a black pistol, according to the public safety department.

The photo was released late Wednesday morning.

The suspect told the clerk to give him money. After he received the money, the suspect reportedly exited the area on foot.

On 2-27-2018 Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Marathon gas station, 2805 Niles Ave. The suspect entered the store wearing a black ski mask armed with a black pistol. The suspect ordered the clerk to give him money. The suspect received the money and fled on foot. Attached is a photo of the suspect. The incident is still under investigation and no other information will be released.
